I am an obstetrician-gynaecologist and a gynaecological oncologist. I have had the opportunity to study with excellent specialists in Hungary and I have also been able to do longer and shorter studies at leading institutions in Europe. After working in Switzerland for 3 and a half years, I returned home and took over the management of the gynaecology department of the National Institute of Oncology. As a result of the dedicated work of our team, the department has been awarded the status of a European Centre in our country. I believe strongly in personalised care and that a good doctor has to learn every day. I believe that benign gynaecological diseases can often be treated without surgery. In recent years, I have been involved in the introduction of many new techniques in my country that have reduced the stress of surgery and allowed for faster recovery. My interests focus on the treatment of gynaecological tumours, the diagnosis and treatment of severe endometriosis, and I am very interested in new methods to treat benign gynaecological diseases such as fibroids in a minimally invasive way without abdominal incision.
